3rd February 2019 MEETING.
The Humanist Association of Ireland is holding a special event on that Sunday from 2pm until 4pm and have two guest speakers. We will be in the Imperial Hotel, South Mall Street in Cork City. Before this we also will have a guided tour of the Crawford Art Gallery, starting at 12 noon and we will stop for lunch at about 1pm to give us time to be ready for the start of the Imperial Hotel meeting.
Humanists from all across Ireland will be attending this special event.
No attendance fee is charged but donations are welcome on the night.
Also on Feb 10th we will be celebrating Darwin Day in Kenmare. A walk in Gleninchaquin park. We will meet just before noon at the Sheen Falls Lodge. This event is being run by the Kerry Humanists. It is free to attend. Darwin Day is a celebration of science and reason, held on or near the birthday of Charles Darwin annually.
Finally the next normal Cork Humanist meeting is March 6th at Meades Wine Bar in Cork city at 19:30 (it is upstairs). Free to attend but donations welcome.

The Buddy Programme is for people who are considering coming along to a Cork Humanists event but would prefer to meet up and have a chat with someone one on one before attending an event. If you would like to be a Buddy simply reply to this email with your contact details. Preferably we would like a diverse bunch of Buddies so that when someone emails in we can put them in contact with a Buddy they have something in common with such as age, gender or whether they have children. For more information see our Buddy Progamme web page.
